PENINSULA LAKE

Peninsula Lake is a popular mid-sized cold-water lake located just east of the Town of Huntsville in the District of Muskoka. Hidden Valley is located at the north end of the lake offering golf and downhill skiing. There is a public boat launch at Hwy 60 and Limberlost Road and a swimming beach at the bay near Hillside. Paddlers can find a canoe drop in point at the south end of Peninsula Lake of Portage Road near Wolf Bay. From this end of the lake you can paddle to Fairy Lake, then right on through to Mary Lake.
