Trillium Lakelands District School Board
Trillium Lakelands District School Board covers a geographically large and diverse region in the heart of Ontario’s cottage country. Encompassing the municipalities of the City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton County and the District Municipality of Muskoka, the school board is dedicated to the success of each student from Kindergarten through grade 12. There are 6 elementary schools and one high school servicing our area.
Simcoe Muskoka Catholic School Board
The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board administers and oversees Catholic education from Kindergarten through grade 12 in the District of Muskoka. There is one elementary school and one secondary school servicing our area.
Near North District School Board
The Near North District School Board administers public education in an area of nouthern Ontario that includes the Almaguin Highlands area. There are 3 elementary schools (one that is grade 7-8 only) and 1 secondary school servicing the area.
An independent day school serving families in Muskoka with children in any grades from Junior Kindergarten to Grade Eight. The 220 acre site offers a spectacular setting for learning. Tawingo College is on the shores of beautiful Lake Vernon with swimming and canoeing facilities. Laughton Hall, a 10,000 square foot log, academic building, provides a warm and welcoming venue for formal, traditional learning. It is equipped with modern classroom facilities, including the latest in current computer and multimedia equipment. The school stresses a strong commitment to teaching the whole child and utilizing the wide range of both traditional and non-traditional educational resources which Tawingo College has to offer.
Muskoka Montessori School
The Muskoka Montessori preschool program promotes early social and educational skills. The elementary school program offers Grades 1 through 8. Both follow the Montessori principles and philosophy of instruction.
Rosseau Lake College
Rosseau Lake College, established in 1967, is a coed boarding and day school for students from grades 7 to 12.

Fairvern Nursing Home is located in downtown Huntsville on the Muskoka River between Fairy Lake and Lake Vernon, accommodating 76 residents and is an accredited non-profit long-term care facility.
